Shotgun Shooting Instructor Training

If you are a reasonably good clay target or wing shooter, would you like to take your skill to another level by becoming a qualified Come Out 2 Shoot (CO2S) instructor, and help others become better shooters? If so, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn from NSCA Level III Instructors. Gil and Vicki Ash of OSP Shooting Schools will be teaching you their shooting instruction methods, which will help you teach others clay target and wing shotgun shooting. Once you learn their instructional methods, you can offer clay target and wing shooters a basic course of instruction called Come Out 2 Shoot.

Come Out 2 Shoot Instructor Training - More Details

CO2S Instructors will receive a full day of training from Gil & Vicki Ash at CGESC on March 18, 2011. Once trained, instructors will be able to teach basic shooting skills to the public. CO2S Instructors will have access to Gil & Vicki for help with solving shooting problems. At this training session, they each will receive six (6) Perfecting Your Gun Mount DVD’s, which they may sell for up to $25 each, and  the great clay target shooting book, “If It Ain’t Broke - FIX IT!”. This material is worth $190.00 retail. Once trained, CO2S instructors will be authorized to use CO2S promotional material, and offer lessons under the CO2S agreement.

Recommended Preparation For Becoming a CO2S Instructor

The goal is to maximize the training, and a trainee will be able to learn so much more if they have a smooth, consistent shotgun mount from the low gun position. The trainee should know and understand the “flashlight” mounting drill. The goal is to perform the flashlight drill gun mount 2,000 – 3,000 times before the training session. Another important item is to read the clay target shooting book, “If It Ain’t Broke - FIX IT!” These are the basic things that a successful trainee can do to prepare for CO2S training.
